MARDI GRAS AT LEISURE WORLD OF SILVER SPRING

           The band entertained a sellout crowd of dancers and listeners at the Crystal Ballroom. Jazz singing sensation Mary Alouette headlined the event. ​

ANNUAL PERFORMANCE AT THE BETHANY BEACH BAND STAND  

          The Dixieland Express has been warmly welcomed back to the Bethany Beach Bandstand every August for many years. We always have had a large and appreciative crowd who love our traditional New Orleans style music.

POTOMAC RIVER JAZZ CLUB​

          As the lead-off band for the annual picnic of one of the DC area’s leading jazz enthusiast groups, the Potomac River Jazz Club, vocalist Elie Cossa joined us in playing many of your jazz favorites.

 

ON THE EXPRESS TRACK​

          At the Kensington Armory we entertained the crowd at the annual Train Show.

JAZZ PARADE AT A MAJOR TRADE SHOW​

         At the Natural Foods Expo at the Baltimore Convention Center, where the band was booked to parade around the exhibit hall, the sponsor said, “I have to tell you how much we all enjoyed and appreciated your wonderful Dixieland band and the excitement you all helped generate for us at Expo East”.  The Dixieland Express can parade for your event, too! 

 

OTHER GIGS

         The band performed at the Homecrest Retirement Home in Silver Spring, Ingleside Retirement Home in Rockville and the New Deal Café in Greenbelt, MD.
